Stephenie Ruvalcaba
BAS in Psychology, M.A. MHC/LMFT(2026)
Welcome,
I’m Stephenie, and I am dedicated to serving the needs of your family.
Growing up with close family members with varying abilities, I developed a deep and personal understanding of challenges this diverse experience can have on individuals and their families. This exposure made supporting individuals with disabilities a lifelong passion and shaped who I am today.
I hold a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Washington State University and am currently pursuing a Master’s in Marriage & Family Therapy at St. Martin’s University. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working in various support capacities, including teaching life skills, employability skills, and daily living tasks to young adults. My professional journey includes working in higher education, where I supported under-resourced college students in developing personal growth plans and academic success strategies. I then transitioned this passion to Special Education, where I was an empowering mentor in the classroom and in the community. My history and experiences have equipped me with a broad range of skills to provide personalized and effective support to individuals and their families.
I have been happily married for 30 years and am the proud mother of two grown daughters. Family means everything to me, and I understand firsthand the value of a strong support system. In my free time, I love being outdoors, whether it’s camping, kayaking, or simply enjoying the beauty of the Northwest. I also have a deep affection for my backyard chickens and my energetic puppy, Wallace, who always keeps me company.
I plan to bring my passion, experience, and dedication to each and every client, working closely with them and their support people to create lasting, positive change in their lives.
